When life began

Today on Foxnews.com, there is a story (Scientists May Have Found How Life Began) stating that british scientists may have found how life began. Why does this not suprise me? The scientists are moving over to the RNA (ribonucleic acid), which is a single-stranded cousin to DNA, as having come first. They can't figure out the double-helix, so they go to the simpler strand of RNA. For scientists to be so smart, why are they so dumb? Foxnews.com reports that scientists say RNA "looks like a good candidate for Earth's first information-coding nucleic acid." The story states that RNA is used by viruses to store genetic code, but by classification, viruses are not a species with the ability to reason or think. Viruses are programmed to follow genetic codes, which means those codes had to be placed there by some other means so the viruses could function. Otherwise, it's just goop on the ground. Just as a computer cannot process information without a programmer, so is it with DNA and RNA. Life just didn't happen on some warm sunny day. Some single-stranded RNA, or the "more complexed" DNA, just didn't rollover one day and decide (the process of thinking) to establish itself as the producer of all life, and evolve into life as we know it. There is a greater power at work here. Go ahead, put a monitor and a computer on your desk with no power button, or software, and just sit back and wait for it to turn itself on and start asking questions. As absurd as that sounds, so is the idea that life came from some micro-organism lying in a pool of mud somewhere. How can some of the most brilliant minds on earth miss such an "out-in-your-face" concept? But yet they do. What's saddest of all is they have so many people convinced of this lie. God did not give us the ability to think so we could think ourselves into obscurity. God is the author of life, breathing life into the man he created. God created all living things. How is that so hard to understand. The god of this age truly is blinding the unbeliever to the light of Christ, which is the truth.
